Focus Hive Inc. SMS Terms & Conditions

These SMS Terms & Conditions ("SMS Terms") govern the text messaging program of Focus Hive Inc. ("Focus Hive," "we," "us"). By opting in you agree to these SMS Terms and our Privacy Policy and SMS Privacy Policy.

1. Program Name and Description

Program name: Focus Hive Staff Business Messaging.

Focus Hive uses SMS for direct, person-to-person conversations between our staff and our clients and prospective clients. Each number is assigned to a Focus Hive team member.

Message types and purpose: one-to-one conversational messages from a Focus Hive team member, such as replies to your inquiry, follow-ups, project updates, and scheduling confirmations. This program is not used for mass marketing or promotional blasts.
Message frequency: varies with your conversation; you will only receive messages tied to your interaction with us.
Cost: Msg & data rates may apply.

2. How You Opt In

You consent to receive text messages from Focus Hive by one of the following:

Checking the optional, unchecked SMS consent box next to your mobile number on a form at focushive.com/sms-opt-in.html, our Support page, or our contact forms, and submitting the form; or
Texting us first, or giving your number to a Focus Hive team member and agreeing, in conversation, that they may text you.

Consent is optional and is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. Submitting a form without checking the box will not result in text messages.

After you opt in, the first message you receive will be a welcome message like this:

"Focus Hive: You are opted in to conversational texts from a Focus Hive team member. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out. Terms: focushive.com/sms-terms.html"

3. Sample Messages

"Focus Hive: Hi Sam, this is Alex from Focus Hive. Thanks for your inquiry. Does Thursday at 2pm work for a quick call? Reply STOP to opt out."

"Focus Hive: Your project kickoff is confirmed for Monday at 10am. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out."

4. How to Opt Out (STOP)

Reply STOP to any message from a Focus Hive number to cancel. You will receive one final confirmation message and no further messages from that number. You may also email [email protected]. Opting out of one number does not opt you out of other Focus Hive numbers you have separately agreed to hear from. Reply START to resubscribe.

6. Message and Data Rates

Msg & data rates may apply. Charges from your mobile carrier are your responsibility; check your plan for details.

7. Carriers

Participating wireless carriers and their affiliates are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission by your carrier and is not guaranteed.

8. Privacy

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. See our Privacy Policy and SMS Privacy Policy.

9. Eligibility and Conduct

You must be the owner or authorized user of the mobile number you provide. You agree not to use the service for unlawful, harassing, abusive, or otherwise objectionable communications.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The SMS service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Focus Hive is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the SMS service.

11. Changes

We may modify these SMS Terms; the Effective Date shows the latest revision. Continued participation after a change means you accept it.
